www.voltimum.co.uk is the leading internet portal for the UK electrical industry. Voltimum's databases host a wealth of information from all its partners and supporters and are accessed by over 50,000 named & identifiable electrical industry tradespeople and professionals who register on Voltimum to view the information free of charge. The database of users has been growing at a rate of 1,000 per month since Voltimum's launch in February 2003.
Voltimum portals are also present in six other European markets: Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Sweden and Austria, and will soon be available in Ireland.
Voltimum is backed by seven of the leading European manufacturers of electrical installation products: ABB, Legrand, Nexans, Osram, Philips, Prysmian Cables and Systems and Schneider Electric, who have invested over Eu20 million in the creation and development of the portal.
In the UK other manufacturers have now joined the initiative including Honeywell, Eaton Electric, ITW Spit, Draka, Dimplex, Kew Technik, Thorn, AEG Power Tools, Vent-Axia, Applied Energy Products Ltd, Fluke, Phoenix Contact.
Voltimum is also supported by many important trade associations and industry bodies.
